The past two weeks here in Spain have been incredibly hot. Hotter than normal I think, but I won't complain when the UK have had nothing but rain for weeks LOL. How's the weather been for you wherever you are?
July 2012 theme for The Soup Kitchen was quite appropriate given this searing heat. A quiet roundup this month though, maybe many bloggers are taking their holidays, who knows? But we do have 3 delicious recipes for you this month........
Kristen of Kapora's Journey sent in her parents recipe for Roasted Corn & Poblano Chowder. This looks wonderful and I'm a fan of sweetcorn too. Kristen suggests serving with tortillas, nice.
Lynne of Cafe Lynnylu sent in her Peach Soup. I love cold fruit soups in the summer how about you? Don't knock it until you tried it, fruit soups are simply delicious; light and refreshing too.
To end, from yours truly, I bring you Summer Minestrone Soup. This is the most delicious Minestrone I've ever tasted and a keeper for the future too. Make it for yourself and let me know what you think.
Maybe a small roundup, but valid and varied too. Thanks ladies for your submissions, keep em coming. Now, where's all the boys? There are a lot of male food bloggers out there, don't you consume Soup too?

Thanks for visiting, we'd love to know what you think, your comments are much appreciated.
